About Kylie Simpson, Aerialist Sydney and Creative Director

Kylie Simpson is an aerialist Sydney based with extensive international performance experience. She works across cyr wheel, aerial silks, aerial hoop, dance trapeze, lollipop lyra, stilt walking, and dance based circus performance. Kylie has performed as a cyr and aerial soloist aboard MSC World Cruise, as a cyr and dance trapeze soloist for Paramour Cabaret, as an aerial hoop soloist for LaLuna Cirque and Sun Magic Circus in China, and as a featured aerialist for Circus Rio. She has also appeared as a cyr and aerial soloist for Circus The Show at Sydney Fringe and as a cyr wheel artist at Ocean Park Hong Kong.

Kylie is a choreographer and creative director with experience designing aerial and dance numbers for LaLuna and Circus Shuvano. In 2022 she launched Cirqular Entertainment at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, performing a duo hoop act for Princess Anne beneath the Royal Agricultural Society hot air balloon. She has produced, directed, and performed in the event’s Arena Spectacular and Street Parades.

Her original productions After Hours and Circus of Facts premiered at Sydney and Adelaide Fringe, earning five star reviews. Kylie has also performed for the Australian Prime Minister at a major charity gala. Her screen work includes Dance Academy: The Comeback, 2Become1, and the Golden Globe winning series Top of the Lake.
